Rapid prototyping and toolmaking with 3D printing
-
-
From the very beginning, we support our customers in the development of their products in order to find the ideal solution for them in electromechanical connection technology. Using the latest 3D printing technology, where components are built up layer by layer, we simplify the realisation of customer projects. This allows us to clarify feasibility using rapid prototyping and create functional models for the desired applications in the respective resins or powders.
For our production, additively manufactured mould inserts can be produced directly from powder close to the final contour. This reduces the machining volume required for conventional production and enables potential savings in resources despite the support structures that are often necessary for complex geometries. With our existing machinery and expertise, we can utilise synergies with other manufacturing technologies.
Pilot series or small batches have also become particularly well established, which are therefore interesting for the customer in terms of price due to the lower material and manufacturing costs. The range of applications is wide. Our innovative tool and plant engineering department even develops systems in which 3D printed parts developed in-house are used. This enables us to offer customers a full service from prototypes to large-scale production.
