New Application: Assembly for Building Technology

The assembly manufactured by Vogt consists of an injection-moulded clamping bar and stamped phase conductors, forming the centrepiece of the DomoClick® system. The clamping bar is made from a polyamide reinforced with 35 % glass fibre – a material that stands out for its high strength and rigidity, integrated flame protection, excellent chemical resistance and outstanding wear and sliding properties.
The phase conductors integrated into the clamping bar are made from bronze and nickel-plated to ensure lasting corrosion resistance. As complex stamped and formed components, they are produced in Vogt AG's in-house stamping facility. The manual assembly of the unit offers an economically attractive solution: compared to a costly insert moulding tool, production costs are reduced by around two thirds – without any compromise on quality.
The DomoClick® system is available in three variants: Therm-Protect for maintaining temperature in hot water pipes, Frost-Protect for safeguarding pipes and fittings against frost, and Ice-Protect for gutters and drainage systems. In all applications, the Vogt assembly makes a significant contribution to operational safety in buildings.
